So, what does everyone in PR do? Here are the kinds of job titles you’ll come across in a PR agency, and what those people do.

Account Assistant/Executive
- Daily administrative work.
- Feature writing.
- Providing support to the account managers.
- Distributing news releases that account managers develop.
- Sorting press clippings.
- Compile media distribution lists.
Senior Account Executive
- Often acts as account manager (see below) on the smaller accounts.
- Responsibility to client and team.
Account Manager
- Ensures the results are delivered.
- Oversees the workload of the team.
- Client comes to manager as 1st port of call.
Account Director
- Heads the strategic work.
- Manages the relationship with the client and ensures great performance.
- Ensures that the client is happy.
- Generates new business for the consultancy as well as being responsible for coaching the team.
Board Director
- Full responsibility for profit and loss.
Managing Director
- Running of the whole company.
