The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaged, enthusiastic and academically accomplished candidate to join the growing Media, Telecoms and Technology team (although there will also be opportunities to work across the wider business). Your key duties will include:

Implementation of financial and corporate communications strategies;

News monitoring and creating press analyses and summaries;

Research for current clients and new business opportunities

Assistance in the preparation of messaging materials – key messages, presentations, press releases, Q&A

Interaction with clients, press and investment analysts

Candidate specification

It is imperative that you have previously worked in financial PR as you will be doing financial calendar / deal / corporate communications work. Other key attributes include:

A strong academic record and a degree obtained from a Russell Group university;

A strong interest in finance and the City in general and knowledge of current affairs;

A keen sense of awareness and understanding of the press and the role of public relations;

Strong written and spoken communication skills;

The ability to really build strong relationships both internally and externally;

Fluency in another language would be advantageous.
