Chris Cooke

Biography

Chris was involved in the launch of Unicorn Jobs in 2007, and oversaw the development of the company’s brand, website and e-bulletins. He also helped devise Unicorn Jobs’ education programmes, including the Brunswick Internship Programme.

He now coordinates the company’s media, editing PR e-bulletin esPResso, managing the unicornjobs.com website and creating company advertising and literature. He also runs the media-orientated components of the Brunswick Internship Programme.

Chris is also co-founder and Managing Director of UnLimited Media, and co-created its four main media platforms – CMU, CreativeStudent.net, ThreeWeeks and ThisWeek. He continues to oversee the production, marketing and development of those titles, as well as heading up the company’s creative and consulting services divisions.

All of UnLimited’s media operate educational programmes supporting young creative people, and Chris runs many of the formal workshops staged as part of these programmes. He also writes for UnLimited’s media, specialising in the music and media industries. Through this work he is regarded as one of the country’s leading experts on the music and media sectors, and regularly comments on both, especially on the BBC.

Chris has an MA in English Language from Edinburgh University, and is currently studying part time for an LLB degree in Law at London Metropolitan University.
