Zubair Ahmed

Biography

After completing his A-levels in 2000, Zubair spent two years backpacking around the world before going to film school in New York. On returning to London in 2003 he set out to conquer the British film industry, initially by studying Film And Video at the University of East London, a degree he recently completed.

With a growing interest in PR and marketing, having graduated Zubair successfully applied to join the Brunswick Internship Programme run by Unicorn Jobs in association with Brunswick, Taylor Bennett and UEL. He joined five other UEL graduates on a ten week intensive and hands-on training programme covering everything there is to know about business, the media and the world of public relations and corporate communications.

He is now fully equipped with all the skills and knowledge to launch a career in the crazy world of PR and hopes to find a job in the sector soon, with the ultimate aim of joining a PR agency that specialises in film. Meanwhile, he continues that passion for film-making in his spare time by running a an independent film and music company he set up with friends for UEL, BraverDarker.
