A leading international company is looking for a Senior Corporate Communications Manager which will report into the Global Director of Communications and Marketing. This is permanent role and based in London.
The appointed candidate will take ownership of corporate communications with the communications being intelligent and creative. The Senior Corporate Communications Manager should be proactive and professional and collaborative when working with the communications team.
In addition, this role will own crisis communications planning, and how to manage them. The appointed candidate will develop media plans as well as lead and manage the current communications team.
The Senior Corporate Communications Manager will need to have an awareness of financial communications, be able to develop the ongoing brand review as well as generate more communications content for the business.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record within media relations and corporate communications, either in house or agency, with a corporate global companies which is essential for this role. This role might suit someone who has been with a communications agency and now looking for their first in-house role.
The ideal candidate will be an established writer and have proven track record of working with journalists and senior stakeholders, both external and internal. You should be target and results driven and you should have a proven ability of working under pressure and developing strong relationships within your team. This person must have a strong academic record and be educated to a degree level, or equivalent.
